Thanks for this...I have ordered Holly's book and am so looking forward to really absorbing her thoughts into my lived experience as a missionary kid born and raised in S Rhodesia by wonderful parents who lived out their call in ministries of compassion...teaching Latin in rural schools to African students so they could pass the A and O level exams and get higher education, two, working as an agronomist to find simple solutions to enhance rural farming and cattle raising, all the while standing for the rights of all in a country governed by apartheid. It was a ministry of accompaniment and relationships which to this day have grounded me in what it is to be community minded and accountable for being a part of the global community.
